This is the web site of Street Rod Muscle in Den Haag, The Netherlands. It is here for you to find inspiration in rebuilding old cars into modern well performing cars with an old exterior, (and for me to document and show off the work done). Street Rod Muscle is a non-profit organization for preserving the result of our sweat and tears for future generations.

The Chevy 35 you see on these pictures was bought in 1985 as a wreck which had been in the woods in Sweden since 1954, and as you may guess, practically everything was rotten, rusted and eaten by the rats! But no challenge is too big a challenge if you are a true street rodder! So after replacing a lot of rotten wood in 1985 and 1986, it was garaged in a barn in the south of Sweden for the next 16 years until I decided to finally try to finish this project. By that time I was earning my living on the wonderful island Curacao in the south of the Caribbean; so there is where she went!

Four years later (April 2005) the car looks like this!

You can follow this project on the following pages. Eventually, my faithful old Camaro will also be trashed up and transformed into a pro-street g-machine performance car. If both you and I hang in there, you might be able to follow this project on this website as it progresses.
