By January 2005 the major work on the
interior started.
The new console with all its electrics and electronics had been
installed long time ago, but now it was time to finalize the insulation
and getting the leather on the side panels and the ceiling. The two
original seats had been redone by Stofferderij Antilliana in Curacao
some time ago, with the leather we bought in Argentina during a vacation
there.

The little round window in the floor is
the hatch
to access the master brake cylinder.
The oval control at the bottom of the console is the
A/C control panel from Vintage Air.

The cover over the rear wheel wells were
fabricated from plywood
and then fiber-glassed inside.

This is the ceiling before the overhead
console is in.... All insulated with aluminium clad foam.

... and here is the console. There will be
a DVD monitor that folds down...

This is how the seatbelts are attached. A long stainless steel angle iron
welded to the vertical part where the belts attach. Should be strong
enough.
